TASEZ JOBS Database Registration Form

The Tshwane Automotive SEZ invites all qualified job seekers in the City of Tshwane, and broader Gauteng Province to be part of Africa’s First Automotive City. Job seekers looking to access meaningful job opportunities in construction are encouraged to register on our database by completing the Jobs Database Registration Form.

Job seekers will be placed using the City of Tshwane Job seekers database while the Gauteng Province’s applicant’s database will be used for the sourcing and placement of candidates on the labour component of the project.

WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO DO TO STAND A CHANCE OF GETTING A JOB?
  • Register on the TASEZ job seekers database. To register your CV visit www.tasez.co.za, or obtain the Job Seeker form from 200 Love Street, Nellmapius, Skills Centre, Tshwane.
  • Provide the necessary documents, noting that your address will be verified.
  • Keep your contact details up to date, by updating your profile on the database at the PSDC, should your contact details, qualifications or work experience change.
  • When opportunities come up the PSDC team will contact you.
  • YOU DON’T PAY TO GET A JOB OR TO REGISTER.
WHAT IS THE TURN AROUND TIME TO GET EMPLOYMENT?
  • There is no turnaround time specified for one to be employed on the project.
  • As long as the person is in the TASEZ database, he or she stands a chance of being invited for selection.
  • People are invited according to contractors’ labour needs, for the various skills level required (i.e. skilled, semi-skilled and low skilled) and selected by the system.
CAN I CONTACT THE CONTRACTOR FOR A JOB OR TRAINING?
  • Don’t contact the contractor or anyone from PSDC and TASEZ for job or training. People can go to the Project Socio-Economic Development Centre to register or update their details based on the schedule issued by the PSDC for updates.
IS THE JOB GUARANTEED?
  • There is no guarantee to get a job on the project.
  • People are employed according to their skills and the needs of the contractor(s).
  • Filling in the Job Seekers’ form doesn’t automatically mean one will be invited for the job.
  • There are job opportunities at all skills levels, from skilled to semi-skilled to low skilled jobs.
DO I GET A SECOND CHANCE IF I’M NOT CONSIDERED ON THE INTERVIEW?
  • When one is not selected, that person remains in the TASEZ Job Seekers’ database; and is eligible to be invited again if the system draws that person’s name.
WHO IS PROJECT SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CENTRE (PSDC) & WHAT DO WE DO?
  • PSDC facilitates employment onto the project through the application of fair and transparent processes.
  • Create a database for people interested to work on the TASEZ project.
  • PSDC prioritises employment for local people on TASEZ project.
HOW DO WE FACILITATE JOBS AT PSDC?
  • PSDC works with contractor(s) through the community steering committee.
  • PSDC checks on the TASEZ database to see what skills are available in target area 1 of the TASEZ project to meet the needs of the contractor(s).
  • After verification of the Job Seekers, they are contacted for job interviews and selection.
  • The process is recorded and all documentation kept for audit purposes.
  • The PSDC facilitates and oversees employment of local people; the contractor(s) are the employers.
